This Assignment was Work for the CGI Lighting Shading Rendering Course at HdM Stuttgart.
For the first part of the Assignment, we should pick any movie scene we liked and recreate its Lighting on some basic geometry stand ins. I picked a shot from Atomic Blonde, since I really like the expressive lighting this film utilizes. You can see the result below:
The following main assignment consisted of a Shading Part and a Lighting Part.
For the Shading we were given the geometry of a scene and the textures used, and we were tasked to recreate the shading from a reference picture we were given:


For the Lighting part of the assignment we were tasked to pick any spread from the Schöner Wohnen Magazine (Lifestyle Mag), as well as any frame from Blade Runner 2049 and recreate Lighting of each with the given scene.
At the time I misunderstood the assignment a bit and went overboard, not only recreating the lighting, but also matching the scene layout and geometry as best I could.
