This was a set I made for my girlfriend for christmas. She loves red, vampires and blood, and I tried capturing that with contrasting nails with victorian patterns that weren’t topped up with top coat to give them a slight relief and make them stand out more.
For the other Nails, I wanted blood in the water, so I roughly blended red with a clear coat toward the tip. Additionally to package them nicely I improvised packaging that I laid out with black and red felt, with the nails being held by black yarn and a nice freeform shibari pattern of red yarn below them.
I did these nails before the shibari nails, maybe the packaging subconsciously gave me the idea. If you want to know more about the shibari nails, you can find them here.
